There are two interesting threads about this on the OO forums:

It seems they are not using PGP/GPG keys, but rather an X.whatever (forgot the standard) certificate like you use for web servers too. So, you could yourself create a "self-signed" certificate, but it would not be worth very much, since nobody can confirm, that it is really you. All that can be confirmed is: This is the same certificate as last time, so it must be the same person.
A "real" certificate costs money, but schools or companies could establish their own internal CA, so they could very well internally sign documents digitally. Looks like I need to install 2.0 soon...

看了這篇文章後就用OOo2.0(中文加強版)
竟然可以把昨天設定到thunderbird中的憑證拿來用...
偉大的OOo，這真是太神奇了
(或者說憑證是由系統管理，像剪貼簿???)
