Well, I would say that depends largely on your distribution. On Gentoo you would have to do a
echo "=app-office/openoffice-bin-1.9.128 ~x86" >> /etc/portage/package.keywords
emerge openoffice-bin
However, something tells me you are not using Gentoo...
There already is an answer for RPM-based systems (RedHat, SuSE...), but it's different again for Debian-based distributions.
The best would be to go to your distribution's support website and ask there, as there may be quite a few differences in the way things are set up on different distributions.
