为什么我在windows下的doc文件在linux下用openoffice打开,汉字无法显示?
One problem comes from different fonts, that's right. But another one could be encoding. I suppose that the Windows machines over there are using GB as their default encoding. Most Linux distributions however have long switched to UTF-8.
This can cause problems like your computer can not open a file although it is there - just because the filename is encoded differently. So, you might want to check that too...

一個簡單的做法是,打開文件後,按 Ctrl-A 選取所有內容,然後選擇 Linux 下的中文字型名稱,像 AR PL New Sung 或 AR PL Mingti2L Big5 等。
至於徹底的解決辦法,是設定取代字型:
把以下 Windows 字型,以 Linux 上的相對字型替代
MingLiU -> AR PL New Sung
PMingLiU -> AR PL New Sung
細明體 -> AR PL New Sung
新細明體 -> AR PL New Sung
標楷體 -> AR PL KaitiM Big5
另外,使用螢火飛的 Linux 中文加強版,會有自動智能配對這些字型的功能。
至於徹底的解決辦法,是設定取代字型:
把以下 Windows 字型,以 Linux 上的相對字型替代
MingLiU -> AR PL New Sung
PMingLiU -> AR PL New Sung
細明體 -> AR PL New Sung
新細明體 -> AR PL New Sung
