是在哪里调呢？要是调不了，我就不能在办公室用这个软件了？别人给我传的文件，我打不开，怎么能用这个系统？
我在这个软件下打的doc文件在windows下显示是正常的，但所有windows下的word文档，我在linux下用这个软件打开，中文都不行，显示不全，还有乱码！！！

我以前用 openoffice 1.0 版時好像也會有這問題，當時也是馬上放棄，後來才知道只要設定中文字型就可以。只是比較新一點的版本似乎都已經解決這問題了，我用 Fedora Core 5，裡面裝的 openoffice 2.0 版並不會有這問題，也就是都會自動找到中文字型來顯現，不知這位網友是用哪一版的 openoffice？哪一套 linux 作業系統呢？

One problem comes from different fonts, that's right. But another one could be encoding. I suppose that the Windows machines over there are using GB as their default encoding. Most Linux distributions however have long switched to UTF-8.

This can cause problems like your computer can not open a file although it is there - just because the filename is encoded differently. So, you might want to check that too...

一個簡單的做法是，打開文件後，按 Ctrl-A 選取所有內容，然後選擇 Linux 下的中文字型名稱，像 AR PL New Sung 或 AR PL Mingti2L Big5 等。

至於徹底的解決辦法，是設定取代字型：

把以下 Windows 字型，以 Linux 上的相對字型替代

MingLiU -> AR PL New Sung
PMingLiU -> AR PL New Sung
細明體 -> AR PL New Sung
新細明體 -> AR PL New Sung

標楷體 -> AR PL KaitiM Big5

另外，使用螢火飛的 Linux 中文加強版，會有自動智能配對這些字型的功能。
